Still haven't figured out if it is a bit or not that this guy has to use woke in every one of his commentsCan we blame the UNC fan base for this development, or is that just the excuse the woke jokes in UK’s fan base hold near and dear?![]()
Billy Donovan is not who Billy Donovan was 15 years agoI still think they get Donovan.
UNC fanbase was too mean.
Ask Kalen Deboer, Lane Kiffin, Mark Pope, and Jon Sumrall that same question. Why go somewhere and get run off when you don't meet idiot expectations? Smart man.
And we have a winner! And this is why I use that word in a lot of my comments, to trigger you and your ilkStill haven't figured out if it is a bit or not that this guy has to use woke in every one of his comments
The landscape has changed. Its why a AD has to be constantly evaluating young up and comers who might qualified! Its not as easy as some think on here to lure these guys away from schools that can match pay.
I don’t know why we’re sure they could even get Oats or Golden. I think Oztelberger and Lloyd turning them down already shows pretty definitively that the era of blue blood programs being able to poach any coach they decide on is over. That's pretty significant. I kinda hope Donovan just takes the job so they don't go after and get Oats or Golden. Golden at UNC or Kansas would be a nightmare. Donovan will probably be good there but he doesn't really scare me like the guys currently dominating college hoops.
And it was just reported that UNC offered to make him the 2nd highest paid coach in college basketball. But But but.. that UNC fan told us they purposely stopped building a $1billion new arena to throw all the money at the new coach!!

That’s why they make the big bucks. Not scared of expectationsAsk Kalen Deboer, Lane Kiffin, Mark Pope, and Jon Sumrall that same question.
Use whatever words you want man I was just trying to figure out if it was a bit I was missing. You might be a snowflake yourself sir maybe take a lap outside and get some fresh air.And we have a winner! And this is why I use that word in a lot of my comments, to trigger you and your ilkNow go watch The View or something, and leave the basketball discussion for the real fans of the sport!
You don’t think Arizona would have ran him off if he didn’t produce? Come onWhy go somewhere and get run off when you don't meet idiot expectations? Smart man.
This.Dude isn't leaving the west.
This is true, the days of pulling away successful coaches is not like it used to be.The landscape has changed. Its why a AD has to be constantly evaluating young up and comers who might qualified!
I was thinking the exact thing. Goodman hinted that Tommy and the AD weren't best buds, but the clause in his new contract negates that issue.This.
I've said this for probably 3 years now. Always felt like he wanted to be out west. Didn't think he'd take Kentucky. Didn't think he'd take UNC.
He's had an amazing run at Arizona, and probably has the resources to compete every year.
Maybe he'd consider Gonzaga.
Maybe if he wants the historic blue blood, he goes to UCLA.
But he was never crossing the Mississippi River.
Any shot that Louisville fan has to take at uk fans he takes it. He loved Cal when he was failing here and the worse pope does the more he will brag on him. Starts arguments with everyone then cries to moderators wanting people banned if they say a word back to him. Typical bad Louisville fan has nothing better to doYou don’t think Arizona wouldn’t have ran him off if he didn’t produce? Come on
He’s a Louisville Card fan he’s used to that nasty city@Monday Nitro , North Cariolina is a beautiful state. I swear you just write drivel to get a reaction. There's no way you believe half of what you write.
