A big jump from D3 hitting to SEC. Don't know what kind of stuff this kid might have but that's a bit concerning. Played for Sewanee, and they went 5-36 this year and winless in 21 conference games.

Yea, I am not really sure what to think. I don't think I have ever heard of a Conference Pitcher of the Year going winless in the conference.

98 strikeouts is certainly a good number. 25 walks less so.

3.89 ERA doesn't impress from a D3 guy. I certainly don't think that is dominating.

Kid is a 6'1 180 pound righty and I don't think he's going to come at you with overpowering speed. Probably more finesse. Does seem to have the ability to go deep into games, which is a positive. Opponents hit .238 which is the lowest on his team. Seemed to get hit pretty hard at times, giving up 22 extra base hits.

I don't know.... jus not a lot about this pickup that really jumps out at me as being impressive, but maybe I'm wrong. Haven't seen the kid pitch.

Here we go again. Instead of recruiting and developing good high school kids we’re back to signing lower level college kids. This program is a complete mess.
