Coaching is a tough gig. You don't get into that line of work if you want to live in one place your whole life.
My friend and neighbor is a baseball coach at the high school level. He's switched jobs three time in the 15 years I have known him. We've spoken about coaching at the college level, and he has said he would never do that to his family, because it would be 1-2 years in a place before moving on.
