A chance to get revenge for all 3 Florida losses last year would be pretty sweet. Although an easier game against a depleted Alabama team would also be welcomed, especially with the NCAA tourney around the corner.

I'd have to favor FL in that game...but would prefer Alabama as well. No matter who it is, they will be tired.

Anybody think Florida just mails it in on Thursday and goes home? They will need to win at least 2 games to get at or above .500.

I hope it is Alabama. That would mean that Florida could not even go to the NIT!

I would love that.

UF would have to beat us just to make it to the NIT. The NIT has changed, teams like Miami , Kansas State, etc will make it over a 17-16 UF

Every year I go to the SECT I am amazed at how tired and ragged the teams look who have already played one or two games. Hard enough to simply play UK but playing the night before or two games before is not a recipe for much success.

Florida still has more talent than anybody in the league besides us, if anyone beats us there it would be them

unlikely, though

Florida wants no part of this Kentucky team on a pro UK court.
They will lay down v Bama and avoid seeing UK for a 3rd time.

If so, where can we see it.
Not officially, but pretty much.

I'm 100% sure it is FL vs. Bama for UK in their first game.

I am not sure who the 4 and 5 are, depends on Ole Miss tonight as there could be a 4 team log jam at 11-7.

Who has the tiebreaker between Vandy and UF? Because if Vandy loses at ole miss they will be tied in conference and split their regular season games

It was a three way tie at 8-10 with Vandy, FL and Alabama. Vandy gets the 7 due to 3-1 record against the other two.

Florida can make the NIT even with a losing record if whoever chooses considers RPI, etc, worth making an exception for.

I hope we play Florida again. I don't care about being swept last year, from a revenge perspective or anything - as UK ended up making the title game and simply took a while to gel. I'd say this season has already more than made up for that. UF has given UK problems with dribble penetration that I would like to see Cal adjust to - to a greater degree than we have seen so far.

The problem with that is it'd require Grant beating Donovan. No matter how little inspiration UF may have, Bama just doesn't beat Florida. I'm actually not sure Grant has ever beaten Donovan. Maybe once? Its similar to Donovan/Pitino.

Eh pretty much every coach has beat Donovan this year and donovan is better then most . Sometimes great coaches just have bad teams . UF has talent as Robinson and Hill will be pros one day but they are a horrible team ,talented but bad . Bama is a better team slightly IMO. But i do hope UF wins to be honest .

The big story line of that game is 'Does Grant have to get the "W" to keep his job versus his mentor?
