So he is just piling on like everybody else. Gee that's a courageous stance. How many times did he beat Florida? Oh yea, none. Matter of fact, if he hadnt thrown a stupid interception when we had them beat maybe that streak ends 15 years ago. Find anything he says to be hollow. It's obvious he has his own agenda. His opinion on UK football matters very little to me

So he's not necessarily wrong, you just don't like him offering his opinion because he threw an ill advised interception several years ago...?

No, I am just saying that he hasn't earned the right to say anything about the guys there now any more than the rest of us. And it kinda pissed me off at the game last week when he came out at the end of the 3rd quarter of a game he picked us to lose to give us a rah rah speech to help them win. Just my opinion, I don't like some of the things he does or says. Like I said, it's easy to bash and slam, what good is that going to do for the rest of the year? We have some winnable games coming up, except Alabama, if everybody just mails it in, fans included, and starts all the basketball chatter, what does that say to the guys that are working their *** off? It's disrespectful and its undermining.

Never ceases to fail. We have two, 3 winnable game this year tops. The team right now is a complete joke. Did you even watch the game yesterday, pumper?

JLo has waaaaaaaaaaaay more right than you do.

The guy played QB here, what have you done?

You dont like what he says..... even though it has turned out to be correct?

Do you get pissed at the weatherman when he predicts it to rain?

I respect your your fandom, but if you had your way we would still be with BCG.. just hang in there guys Perry Stevenson is working his tail off...

This team needs a major change and it's not going to happen by excusing the poor coaching we have seen for FOUR STRAIGHT YEARS now.

Oh ok, so as long as a guy has played and lost at UK he has the right to act like a jackass? I see. 4 years of terrible coaching? You think the coaching here for every game in the last 4 years was terrible?

He is a jackass because he correctly predicted UK's performance?

Answer that please.

Please provide me one game that we have won that we were more than 5 point dogs.

Please provide me one game that we made adjustments at half time and erased a deficit to come back and win a game.

South Carolina game in 2014
Missouri game last year

He is a jackass because he knows that the bottom line with a football team no matter on what level is execution. If you watched the same game I watched yesterday, go back and look at how our receivers blocked downfield. The effort was half assed at best. All he does is pile on.

Who teaches the wr's to block?

Who is responsible for the team's passion and effort?

Why have coaches at all if they are not going to teach fundamentals and inspire the players?

I like you, but IMO, your defense of the coaches is so amiss that I cannot wrap my head around it.

Let me guess. You DON'T think Freddie Maggard has his own agenda?

Totally agree...I remember that dumbass interception so very well....let's face it...no one has any answers here....this job, despite having great fan support, is a dead end job ....Kentucky only produces about 2 D-1 players a year....and can't recruit outside of the state well enough to be consistent

mushroom cloud would have been more appropriate. More descriptive of just how bad we are at playing football this year so far.

No, he's not piling on. Actually, he started the pile. IIRC, he was "projecting" a 4 win season when most fans and pundits were saying 7-5, 6-6 (me) or 5-7 at the worst.

Now, did he do so just to be controversial or did he "see" things that shaped that projection? I don't know. I think most fans foresaw a close win over USM and a competitive loss at FL and neither happened. The way these losses materialized is far more discouraging than the losses themselves. JMO.

Peace

Stoops is completely over-matched. Kept thinking he'd move up the learning curve but it appears that won't happen here. The Vandy game last year was as poor of coached game, at ANY level, I've watched.
JLo sees the same problems we do and called it out.

We all have right to say what we think. Some of us just have more credibility. Playing 4 years of QB for the team certainly earns him some extra credibility. I also believe J-Lo has an agenda. He is part of the schools legacy and it seriously upsets him to see it represented in this manner. I think his agenda is about lighting a fire under this staff. Sometimes you don't know what you can do until your back is against the wall. The second part of his agenda is to plant the seed of change if this season stays on its current glide path. If we are 2-9 headed into Papa John Stadium, the wheels of change need to already be spinning.

Why doesnt he have a job at UK? He is all over the practice field and at games. He connects with players. UK is in his blood. Somebody tell me why...

Lorenzen is an expert on lousy football. He provided plenty of it during his years in Lexington.

Yep....

People soon forget, Lorenzen did not lead us to ONE quality win over a SEC opponent while he was here and he has the single biggest choke of any UK play in history.

That's when he threw an interception to Florida when all he had to do was run out of bounds and milk the clock for the win.

Lorenzen cost us a sure win against Florida. He has some gall to pile on right now..

If anyone has a right to speak up, it's Woodson who actually WON GAMES against quality SEC opponents. Lorenzen didn't have a single quality SEC win.

Memories are very short around here....Lorenzen is very overrated.

You have bitched since day one since you arrived like a pathetic little piss ant and when someone with more credibility than you will ever have voiced an opinion he is piling on?

You are absolutely awful.

Yeah he has no right! Given that he didnt beat anybody. I would never ever listen to Archie manning on Nfl football topics because he never won a super bowl. Logical right?
