I know everyone thought he was being negative in talking about UK prospects for this season but in reality he was being honest. This staff is in over their head and Lorenzen has enough inside info to know this.

Simply looking at UK players tonight on TV: Harmon, Ross, Westry, Love, etc. I thought this team is good enough to win 5 games just by showing up. I may be wrong.
Folks it comes down to coaching at this point. USM does not have better players than UK they have better coaches.

You are correct OP. He was excoriated by some on this board. He had more heart and desire to win that anyone on the current team. The inmates ran the asylum last year, Jared knew it, and if you thought that was a train wreck wait til you see what happens this year.
Lorenzen got lucky cause UK pulled off one of the biggest choke jobs ever. What did his teams ever do? Same damn thing. No ones him an apology.
