I just went over to the Louisville boards for the first time in years just to read what they've said about the game.

Those guys have a sense of entitlement more than I've ever seen, including South Carolina fans. Why in the world do they think they are an elite program or even anything more than an average program?

I'm curious because I find it ironic and very funny because at the end of the day, it's still Louisville.

Louisville has Alabama's arrogance with Vanderbilt's trophy case.

Why do people always bring Politics into this? :weary:

My favorite part of all of this is so many Louisville fans are crying about their number 6 defense getting torched today. I tried to tell them, you played horrible teams. Thats how you got to #6. Every team with an offense torched you.

A lot of it started when they beat a very average Florida team in a bowl a few years ago. That gator team wasn't interested in being there and UofL caught them at just the right time. Since then they think they are the equal of the SEC's upper echelon.

Because the media in Louisville tells them they are awesome and have arrived... they've won enough to point to reasons for believing. Lots of schools have been relevant for a 5 to 8 year span only to disappear.

They have convinced themselves that the wins over Bama, fsu and ND were wins over top 5 teams even though those teams were awful those years.

They still only have around 5 wins over top 20 teams the last 15ish years. Boise state has similar record but without the Charlie sheen since of self.
