Louisville jail humiliates woman by denying her tampons and sends her to court without pants

Unbelievable. Woman gets arrested for a first offense for shoplifting, is kept in jail for 3 days before going to court, and is denied pants and feminine hygiene products during her time there. When Judge Amber Wolf realizes she's not wearing pants in the courtroom, she goes on a tirade aimed at the jail staff.

Judge slightly overreacted since the lady had on shorts, albeit not visible. But still pretty outrageous.

I dont think people understand the current condition of state and local jails. Theyre pretty deplorable, even for jail standards.

She wasn't arrested for shoplifting, she was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court for skipping her diversion from the shoplifting.

I don't feel bad for her spending a few days in jail but she diserved better treatment once she was there.

The one person I know who works at a jail also happens to be the dumbest person I know. Like, by a lot.

I have a similar experience. He's one of the dumbest but also one of the fattest too. It's not really relevant but I just wanted you to know he was really fat and dumb. There's a low bar of expectations for that staff.

We should just load up all the convicts on boats, or at least the worst of them, and find an island in the middle of nowhere and dump them on it. It worked for England. Kind of sucked for the aborigines though. Just try and find an island that is uninhabited.

Why spend billions of dollars trying to house, feed, and rehab rapists, murderers, pedophiles, etc? Just tell them they will have to fend for themselves and kick them off the boat. Just give them the tools to grow food and build housing and you are on your own. Maybe they would think twice about committing a crime if they know they won't get 3 hots and a cot and be back out in a few years.

Why spend $39 billion a year to maintain prisons when it would only cost a fraction of that to ship prisoners off to an island somewhere? Imagine what kind of good that could be done with that money instead. By the way I am not talking about people like the person without pants unless they are a serial criminal. You give them the 3 strikes and you are out treatment before sending them off. Violent criminals, rapists, and pedophiles are 1 and done though.

You can thank the bleeding heart crowd for it.

Do you people expect bright intelligent employees who are willing to self-imprison themselves? Only the dumb willingly lock themselves in prisons.

We could do like Escape from New York (Or L.A.) and take some crap hole city and wall it off to make a prison.

Well at least she wasn't humiliated for getting caught stealing. Wouldn't want people to be embarrassed about being criminals.

She wasn't embarrassed about getting caught stealing, at least not to the point she was willing to face the consequences of, hold on now, DIVERSION! Does anyone think this latest "embarrassment" will keep her from stealing again?

Used to think I wanted to be a cop so I took a job at FCDC to try to get in. Quit in part because of the dumbasses I worked with and had to answer to. Still friends with quite a few of them on Facebook and the routinely post the most idiotic **** I've ever seen.
