Here is one for traffic. Avoiding the chaos that is the ramps from 264 West to 65 South and 65 North to 264 East.
The access for the airport is a loop with the terminal being at 12 o'clock. The entrance from the highways is a 6 o'clock and the ramp to 264 East is at 3 O'clock. That stretch of the road is the key. You can use it and not go anywhere near the terminals.
How I go home.
264 West to 65 south. Just stay as far left as you can for as long as you can to get past the madness that is those people all trying to get right. Not to mention the people getting on at Poplar Level and it's madness, takes forever and is unsafe. Get around it BUT THEN YOU DO NEED TO GET RIGHT ASAP when past it. Take the next exit for the airport. Stay in the 2nd to right lane and that will take you to the airport. Enter a 6, leave at 3. Stay in the right lane. Sometimes it's a little backed up but nowhere near as much as the other way. That will take you to 65 South.
How I go in the morning.
2 options
1. Even this is a little hard sometimes recently. There are 2 lanes that exit 65 North to 264 East. If you can get to those 2 easily you take that and then just stay left again until all of the people that refuse to get over until the last car (may they rot in hell). Once you clear them, stay in the middle lane. Again, that will take you to the airport to the exact same place. This time when you get out, you need to get left but there isn't much traffic so it's not hard at all. When you're coming up to the end of the barrier preventing you from getting over start planning on trying to get left 2 lanes. This avoids the madness of Poplar Level again where the people that you just passed are getting on and people need to get off.
2. If you can't get over to those 2 lanes safely, no big deal. Just take the next exit for the Fairgrounds. Keep getting left after ever barrier. It's easy until you get to the last one because there is no traffic but the last barrier only leaves room for maybe 7 or 8 cars. You are going to be in the far left lane. You will be staring at the front gate of the Fairgrounds. Make a U-Turn. It takes you back to that same exact stretch of road.
