I hope for a win but I don't expect one. It's really incredible how far from the mountain top we've descended. Good luck cards!
WKU only favored by 7.5 points.

The spread moved down to -7 WKU and I started thinking maybe the Cards have a chance. Did I overlook one?
WKU is shooting the 3 very well and have good guard play. They are coming off their worst 3 point shooting game of the season against Wright State. They shot 17% (3-18) from 3 in their 4 point win over Wright State. In their only loss this season, they got out rebounded 43 to 16 and shot 28% from 3.
A 15 point win for WKU sounds about right unless they are off from 3. Hard to see anything below 15 unless or until we see better defense. WKU is 3-4 against the spread. FSU was 3-7 against the spread going into their game with Louisville and we saw what happened.

Eventually, one of these opponents are going to just expect that Louisville can't win and not be prepared for a Cards team that finally finds some confidence.
I say it could be tonight. I don't expect the Cards to be blown out but a one point loss would be just as bad.

There once was a time when UofL was playing I'd plan my day around the game time and either be at the game or be in front of the TV with my party supplies ready to go well in advance of game time.
This days I couldn't care less. If it wasn't for the fact I took WKU and gave the points I wouldn't even watch. May not anyway.

Fabio has to play. He's raw but he appears to have a good basketball IQ.
Fabio one of the few to make a good post pass as well. Gotta try to stay out of foul trouble but I like what he brings to the game.
Ellis is a classic streak shooter. That's why I don't get too upset when he takes quick shots. He just has to pick his times better.

Nine assists at half. Gotta be nearing a high for 40 minute game already.
Finally some life. Shooting 8-15 from 3. Cards looking like GSW. I’m surprised how effective the zone appeared to be against WKU in the 1st half.
