What's the chances that both our lead guards both years have nagging shoulder issues that apparently are going to hinder the season 😩😩😩.
We're either the biggest pansies ever or cursed.
I agree that you are one of the biggest pansies😎

If it's something that just needs rest then let him rest the full amount. 4 weeks, 8 weeks, whatever. If it's something that needs surgery then get surgery and maybe try again next year. It sucks for him and team chemistry, but it is what it is. I respect him for giving it a go but playing through it just seems like the worst option at this point. It didn't make sense to me to put him out there whenever he feels like he needs to have it in a wrap. It's clearly going to be a lingering issue unless it's taken care of right now.

If it just needs rest then do that and hey, maybe we get him and JQ both back for the start of SEC play with a chance to salvage this. That might be the best case scenario at this point that still gives us a chance to head into March clicking at the right time.

Regardless, Jasper Johnson needs to be getting all the reps at PG that we can give him. Love Chandler on the wing but he just doesn't give us that dynamic we need at PG. Roles need to be clearly defined right now. This is still a good team, but there can't any disconnect between coaches and players about what their roles are out on the court. IMO that seems to be as big of a problem as any.

Whatever happens Pope needs to play Jasper a lot of minutes. He may be our most talented scoring guard and he needs to learn the college game and get minutes to be his best late in the year.

What were people gullible about? It seems like the injury is legitimate. You mean gullible to believe he wouldn't have injury problems or something else?
He’s a psychopath and thinks since players are getting paid they are faking injuries and don’t want to play. Let’s not feed to mentally unwell trolls.

Lamont Butler played several games where he could barely lift his arm. Lowe has had his shoulder pop out of socket twice and played in obvious pain Tuesday, but then again we all aren't as tough as you. What drivel.

He’ll be great by the end of the season but he was definitely in over his head against UofL. Was not ready to match that intensity and physicality. But barely anyone on the team was so not singling him out.
I don’t disagree. I’ve been underwhelmed by Jasper, but nothing unexpected for freshman. Other than Michigan State game, Maxey was rough early in the 2020 season. It took a long time for Shai to become Shai in 2018. Herro stunk early in 2019. People are too quick to say a freshman is trash and won’t figure it out.

Exactly, it takes them awhile usually before they are ready to contribute consistently a lot of times.
