Jaland Lowe is reportedly good to go tonight vs. Gonzaga

After not playing since Kentucky's loss to Louisville on Nov. 11, point guard Jaland Lowe is expected to play against Gonzaga in Nashville.

Who knows if he’ll have any impact on the game tonight but anything to shake up the status quo is probably a good thing at this point.

At least he gives us a guy who can make something happen. He averaged 17ppg last year. He can be an aggressive scorer if he needs to.

1. Does Lowe look good after being out for so long? Does our offense flow way nicer?

2. Can he avoid a re-injury? Please.

We just need to hope he doesn’t reinjure it, at this point if he does it’s surgery time. He is at about 90% like I said in my post yesterday and he will log 10-15 minutes tonight. Should help even if there’s a bit of rust, let’s keep him from injuring and make 7-9 3s and we win.

This is good to hear. My big question is this: IF JQ passed his strength test with flying colors and is competing in full contact 5v5 in practice, what's the reason to not have him suit up tonight? 6-8 minutes shouldn't be out of the question, right?

I think he's only doing 5v5 against grad assistants, not actual players

Will it really matter? This team is lifeless.

The negative in me says we lose by 8-12.

The positive says we win by 6-10.

I'm honestly 50/50 on this game and hope that we finally pull one out and turn this ship around. We still have IU and St John's ahead. We cannot go into those looking like slop (especially IU...).

Village most point guards aren't really expected to rebound are they, I consider any they get is just a bonus. We have been needing some point guard play bad though. If he gives us the assist that he averaged last year, I will tickled pink, and points another bonus
