Yes he made some mistakes, but personally I liked what I saw. He is super fast, and has no fear. Some of those assist were legit, and I love that he can go either hand when driving.
Things if he reads this he HAS to be better at.
Free Throws- you're the PG we need you to be 80 percent or above and make clutch ones down the stretch.
Be fast but UNDER CONTROL, and keep your emotions in check.
Trust your guys to make plays, Denzel was HOT and needed the ball and 2 or more times he drove in and turned it over.

Lastly, we need you to LOCK your man down. You cannot be this fast and let guys get past you.

And for everyone on this team, you have to play D like your life depends on it. Otherwise an early exit is coming in March.
Learn it now and it will not be hard later on.

He's the PG at UK, man...he should be able to drive with either hand. Lol. A competent 8th grade PG can do that. That front end of the 1+ he missed when down 6 was killer. He can't defend. You can tell he doesn't like contact and doesn't want to mix it up. That's an issue.

He didn’t have the best game. But Lowe is one of the last people I have a problem with right now. I can nitpick on the bad things he did last night. And he did a lot but he gave effort and showed a little emotion. The rest of the team was dead.

and I hate to say anything positive about Louisville but they showed up last night. Players and fans. I’m gonna call it like I see it. That arena was rocking. The players were loose. The environment was hostile and I think it got the best of our players. Even Mo looked shook. Does Rupp arena get hostile??? Ik it’s gets extremely loud when we make good plays but is it hostile to the point that it intimidates other players??? I’m seriously asking that because I’ve only been to Rupp one time when I was younger and it was nose bleed.

I get that they should be to drive with either hand, but I guess I mean actually beat thier man with either hand. Guys like Wheeler could only beat his man with his dominate hand. And like DJ wagner was just not fast enough to beat his man he had to do it with strength. I really like Lowe, I think by the end everyone else will. People are just raw right now losing to UL.

Lowe played a bit like he probably had to when he was at Pitt.
I love his energy, hustle and overall play. He will adapt to what this team needs from him.
Not worried about him.
Aberdeen and Chandler need to play a ton.
Pope is so loyal to garrison and Oweh so it will be interesting if he keeps riding them or cuts back their minutes. Oweh we all know can play better, but garrison is what he is.
Kam and Jelly need to play so much more.

Sorry not sorry, but Lowe is a backup PG at the UK level! DA is twice the physical presence Lowe is, and should be the PG1, CC at the 2, and Oweh, sorry not sorry again, is just a slightly above average player at the 3 spot. Mo/ AJ at the 4, and JQ, who needs to put his money where his mouth is and get on the damn court, and MM are the 5s.

Sprinkle in JJ here and there, and Garrison only for foul trouble, and LFG! This lottery ball substitution bs should have died a hard death when Calipari left town!

Wheeler and Wagner weren't/aren't good college PGs.

I'd say this is pretty accurate.

First half Lowe did fantastic I thought. The last part of the game he tried to do to much but it wasn't like anyone was playing particularly well so Im not ready to throw Lowe under the bus.

Don't forget that when Lowe first got into the game he played great. I think he puts too much on his self when his team gets behind. Habits are hard to break. Hopefully he will learn that he doesn't have to do it all this year.

Edit: Typing at the same time as Oliver apparently.

He was fine until that last like 4 mins. Just reverted back to what he did last year. He will be fine and his speed and vision will be great for this team. Just a lot of people on this board overreacting.

Team was absolutely rattled when UL went on the first 13-0 run. Airballs, stupid decisions, general panic by our players. Why Pope didn't call a time out there, I have no idea. Turns out that could have made the difference in the game.

It is early, but it seems clear that he is nowhere near the defensive player that Butler was. Definitely a step backwards defensively at PG.
