Huh? Aberdeen vs Mississippi State

Points: 16
Assists: 4
Rebounds: 1

He was one of Kentucky's key contributors, alongside Otega Oweh (22 pts) and Malachi Moreno (17 pts).
I had an in game rant because at the time Aberdeen wasn’t producing. After my rant he started scoring. I felt when Lowe was injured again it was time to put Jasper in and give him opportunity to see what he can do.

Yeah. It’s strange to want the guard who can’t shoot back for round two.
just goes along with the rest of the construction of this group
IF your style is supposedly 30 3 point shots a game, why recruit guys that can't shoot
just a horrible construction job

for years the fans have watched as small, quo=ick, point guards have destroyed UK's defense, yet ccc nor Pope recruits
that type of player, and has no one to stop that type of player. Vandy, Auburn, UT will drive around UK's guards like water thru a net for lay up after layup because UK has no shot blocker either

JQ was going to always be a bit of a gamble but it’s high risk, high reward for him. So. You take that shot.

Lowe had never been seriously injured before this I believe. It was just a freak injury at the BW Game. I still blame the person that brought Annabelle to Lexington.
always thought JQ was high risk, not high reward
He did not have big numbers last year @ Ariz State before he was hurt, so why did everyone think he would @ UK AFTER coming
back from a serious knee injury.
Just another questionable piece of the roster construction

lol, I have noticed a lot of our fans do this. I think at some point in time our fans have called for every player we have to be benched or kicked off the team.

Good. He stinks.
Just to be clear tho, he’s the 2nd guy on our team who’s decided to sit out the year in the span of 3 days. Both were projected starters.
That’s pretty wild
"decided to sit out the year"! Dude, his shoulder keeps falling out of the socket. Get a life!
I get that the guy who I swore I'd never say his name (but initials are SS) burned us, and made many skeptical of all players now. But this is NOT the same.

Lowe = wheeler as a player.
Not really. I mean yeah neither could shoot, both could get into the lane. Wheeler though would dish it. Maybe because he had to because was so short. Until he got the FT yips, he wasn't as bad as many think. But the fact that he QUIT on his team his 2nd year simply because he was playing less, that's the worst and unforgivable.

0ne thing is for sure, it doesn't matter if Lowe is here or not, Pope needs to take the pg position a lot more seriously next year. If Lowe is back, fine, but he can’t just be given that spot, bring in at least one other top notch pg and maybe even a 3rd guy that is younger and maybe geared towards getting more playing time the next year.

That pg spot is the most important of the 5 and this is two years in a row now where we were too thin there and both times, our main pg's got injured.
Don't single Lowe out as if he is the problem when other players are going to have to step up from their level of production to lead this team without Lowe.

Lowe's shoulder is one of many problems.
Only having 1 pg is another very bad problem.
However, Lowe is not a good shooter, he's not a good defender, not a good rebounder and he’s wored to score. In Pope's offense, you want a Tyty Washington type guy that thrives on getting assists.
I like Lowe, but we could do much better.
