Ramblers 7 point favorites. I haven’t been able to pull the trigger. Fearing a bounce after beating the 1 seed State Flagship. What do you think?

Should be interesting how lu plays now that they are favored by a bit. Will see if they keep up their edge on the opponents. My guess is a lu win by similar as illini. Sis jean is hoping for an all jesuit final. Zaga vs lu. That would be cool!

I have not watched LUC more than 4 times this year. But man, this team is impressive.

It’s like watching a team of old men playing in 22 year olds’ bodies. The talent is so “normal”, the execution is so elite.

Stifling defense. Just shows you don’t have to have elite athletes to play great defense and be efficient on offense. Such a well coached team.

Virtually every players first move in to drive to the paint, then pass to an open man. They don't drive to shoot as much as they do to create motion and force the defense to react. What a difference from the NU approach to stand around the 3 point line and pass aimlessly.

What's amazing is just how many layups Loyola is leaving short. Sure, they're contested layups, but still, leaving shots like that short is a sign of fatigue.

Illini fans collectively saying "how the heck did we lose to these clowns?".......
Truly. People can call this is great defense. Seems like offensive ineptitude from my couch. (17% shooting???) Looks like my 22-20 prediction was too optimistic 😂

let’s hope they remember how to score in the 2H

The Ramblers are shooting at a NU’esque level.

Moser moving to a full court press after the occasional basket. Trying to give the team a jolt.

Tough loss. But credit to Oregon St. They hit big shots when it mattered.

Oregon State played some decent defense themselves. B1G teams have to learn to throw in some zone once in a while. Loyola's offense didn't work nearly as well down the lane against it, and they couldn't hit enough 3s to loosen it up. Ramblers are good, but beating three good P5 teams in a row is a pretty tall order for a mid-major. If they'd run up against the Syracuse zone next round, that really could have been ugly.
