Mickey should have been ejected as well for trying to go back at Grainger for Auburn.

I'm listening to Auburn radio, Jordan Granger? threw a punch at Mickey and was ejected. Mickey retaliated and got a T (his 4th).

Refs did the right thing. Mickey was swung at by the Auburn player, his emotions were high, don't see a reason to eject him. The Auburn player was totally wrong for hitting Mickey in the back of the head and then raising his fists to try and provoke a fight. He needed to be thrown out.

Auburn guy(Grainger) got ejected for fighting. Mickey was the LSU player involved. Mickey shoved the official trying to get to Grainger and for whatever reason didn't get ejected.

An absolute joke. Mickey should be GONE, GONE, GONE for shoving the ref. Look at the replay. He gives the bald ref a left forearm shiver trying to go after Granger. Granger clearly needs to be gone for good, but Mickey should get the heave and a game suspension too.

Auburn radio guys are saying these refs are bad and have not had control of this game from the start. Hence, the fight.

The Granger kid was the same one who got ejected at Rupp when he threw a punch at Archie Goodwin.

I saw Mason get away with a right jab to Quarterman's face. Luckily, only a flagrant 1. Granger then throws a haymaker (flagrant 2/ejection) and wants to fight like this is gang alley.

Maybe Auburn should realize this isn't boxing. Anyone surprised a Pearl team resorts to gang-like behavior.

And yes, Mickey should've been ejected.

The SEC might just review the Mickey shove to the ref tonight because not ejecting him for that shows an agenda by the officiating crew.

and oh yes he clearly shoves the official, and then keeps trying to push through him.

I too believe the officials got that one correct. Mickey had a chance to throw a punch at Granger but held back. He did shove the official a bit but I believe him not throwing the punch when he had the chance is what kept him in the game. I understand people wanting him ejected so he would miss the UK game tomorrow (if they win), but I think the officials got it right in this case.

This referee group is terrible. just terrible!!! Lsu and auburn play thug ball. Remember a few years ago when that lsu guy took out Anthony Davis on a break away. I hope the league officials review this fiasco and this ref group. Don't want this kind of crap in our game tom. GBB

How can Mickey not get thrown out for pushing a ref twice?????? No way the SEC does not review that situation regardless of who wins--indy

LSU must have the coach/team IQ of a mushroom .. My gosh , cant get a shot off out of a TO with 6 sec left , then dont foul and allow a clean 3 to tie .

The kid just got punched in the back of the head. Him not throwing a punch showed control IMO. Sure the ref got pushed a bit but these are 20 year old kids who are fighting hard and when you get a cheap shot punch in the back of your head and you don't start swinging shows control IMO.

I think the officials did the right thing here.

Jordan Mickey showed extraordinary restraint and should be rewarded for such. He and his relative self-control are the sole reason this didn't turn into an all-out brawl. To suspend him for this would be a total joke. Yes, he tried to go through the ref a little bit to get over to Granger. But he ultimately chose not to defend himself after being waled on. He didn't even start going at Granger until Granger raised his fists and challenged a fight (and until another LSU player was going in, as well).

You are exactly right. Mickey showed a lot of restraint after getting hit in the head.

Granger is a thug, pure and simple.

Granger looks like a limbo champion as he backpedals after throwing a haymaker to the back of someone's head.

He's out for tomorrow's game which is pretty big, as short as Auburn is to lose a big man and possibly their best defensive player could be a death Nell. I look for UK to absolutely pound it inside all game long and Auburn's only chance is Harrell and Mason lighting it up from deep all game long. Plus 4th game in 4 days by the 2nd half they should have tired legs.
