Seems there is some concern on the Bayou.
We need this one badly.

Another take away I hate to add is that LSU is nowhere ready to enter SEC play. After losing a winnable game against USC and not showing the week 2 improvement against a FCS opponent, there are a number of concerns about the Tigers.
One of the biggest concerns is the offense is one dimensional. LSU has no running game to speak of. The reason for this is that in 2 games, what was expected to be one of the best, if not the best, O-lines, it has yet to succeed in opening holes so the running attack can develop.
This will be an ingredient for failure in the SEC, which happens to begin this week against South Carolina. Many were predicting the LSU/Ole Miss game to be one between 2 undefeated teams. It is now entirely possible for one of those teams, LSU, to have 2 or more losses.

Since he didn’t overreact to LSU… poor tackling, no run game, against Nicholls?! The saving grace is that LSU could have scored at will at any time during the game, thanks to pass blocking and Garrett Nussmeier. But they are still trying to establish a run game. The defense is at least swarming to the ball, but they don’t know what to do when they get there.

Yeah, I know. It’s just disheartening to see an FCS team put together 7-minute drives on your defense. It wasn’t freaky plays. It was methodically moving the chains. On offense, we have one of the best lines in football, and we can’t run the ball against an FCS team?
