Im in Lubbock for the next day and a half. Any restaurants worth eating at while I'm here? Or how about places to have a drink?

Blue sky Texas is a really good burger and terrific onion rings. Cagle steaks is fun, but nothing special. The original abuelos. The shack barbecue is pretty good. One guy from Italy is decent pizza.

Not brave enough to go out to a bar in Lubbock.

I normally stay in the hotel and order jimmy johns.

This is lame, but I wound up getting free fajitas at the Hampton Inn so I opted for that. Are at the Cast Iron Grille for lunch and that place was excellent

For the record, I'm married and here on business. I drove around for 45 minutes to find something decent with no results. I'll go to bed hungry, wake up and pound some coffee.

Went to Orlandos tonight. I have to say the food was pretty good. Not saying it was the best Italian I've ever tasted, but it was better than most chain restaurants and I would eat there again.
