So have any of you started watching this series yet? I just finished the first episode and it was ok, but not sure if it will be a hit or not. Hopefully it gets better as it goes on. I'm just surprised they made a series based on a character that isn't well known except by big comic book fans. I didn't even know who he was when I collected comics as a kid. I wasn't a die hard though. Mostly only collected Spiderman, X-Men, a little bit of Superman and Batman and a few others. I'll give it a chance since I like comic book movies/tv shows and Netflix has been solid on the tv ones.

I'm three episodes in. It's alright, but not as good as Daredevil or Jessica Jones. There's still plenty of time for it to pick up though.

I am up to like episode 8 and it is alright but I'm not a huge fan of it.

Am I the only one that isn't a big fan of flashbacks all the time in these type shows? I would have liked it better if they started it off with the back story on how he ended up in jail and got his abilities. They could still mix in some flashbacks about characters he interacted with in the past. The show Arrow is real bad about flashbacks. I think it took 4 seasons to learn his whole back story. I just want to know about their abilities and how they obtained them from the start.

I'm two episodes in. I love it so far. But hey, I don't need much. Broke my heart about Pops.

My wife calls the show, "Empire with superpowers"

I have the first issue somewhere in my collection (if my wife hasn't given it to someone [RIP New Teen Titans #1 and the Dark Phoenix saga]).

I kept calling Shades, Juice for some reason. I liked the show and finished it but also wished for better bad guys. Won't go into details but that outfit was beyond ridiculous those that have watched to the end know what I'm talking about.

Just finished it. Thought it was well done. Not as good as Daredevil or Jessica Jones but I'd give it a solid B/B+. Ending was great to set up season 2.

Jessica Jones is even more obscure than Luke Cage and that show was really good. The last 5 episodes of that were ridiculously good.

I have one episode to go on J. Jones and have not started Cage yet. Let me say I didn't read comics as a kid so I am coming into these stories and characters fresh. I ABSOLUTELY loved the first 8 or so episodes of Jones. But it kind has got to be a bit stale the last few. They catch Kilgraves, he gets away. Jones catches him again, he gets away...etc. I'm kinda to the point where I don't think he makes it to the next season because what else can they do. They have to have a payoff, right? They can't capture him and him get away again for the finale, can they?

Anyway, anyone else feel this way?

I'm def gonna watch Cage and I heard Daredevil was awesome. I know a little about the Punisher so I'm psyched for it. And I had never even heard of Iron Fist but the trailer looks great.

And is Jones hot or not? I cannot tell. Some times its absolutely she is then some times its like nahh...

Yep. They overdid the capture and escape of Kilgraves, one of few complaints about season one.

She is a good candidate for hot or not. Sometimes she looks smoking and sometimes very average.

The Marvel/Netflix alliance has been one of best things to happen to TV in quite a while. I wish Agents of SHIELD had been on Netflix too so it could have been better.
