He's washed up. If he got canned at Texas in the Big XII with all of their resources and tradition playing Iowa State and Kansas, he sure as heck can't win at Kentucky in the SEC playing Florida and Alabama. We need a guy that can do more with less (Brohm) not another Stoops who is used to underachieving with superior talent.
That being said, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he was at the top of Mormon Mitch's wish list of coaches. I picture Mitch sitting in his office with pictures of coaching his top candidates on the wall biting his lip and contemplating his choices: the running backs coach at FSU, the special teams coach at Missouri, Mack Brown, and the defensive backs coach at Toledo.

I wish someone would hire him and get him off TV. It's like listening to Bill Curry all over again.
We aren't getting a big name coach. Hire Marshall's coach Doc Holliday he has won at least 10 games the past 3 season's.
