he has looked like a really good player. He hasn't been bad this year but, most of the time, his play has ranged from not hurting the team to being a net negative. Tonight he was good.
Most players aren't good if their coach kills their confidence, lol.He will be good. As long as as his confidence is killed by pope
If he doesn’t transfer, he can be an All-American level player someday for ushe has looked like a really good player. He hasn't been bad this year but, most of the time, his play has ranged from not hurting the team to being a net negative. Tonight he was good.
Conditioning might leave something to be desired, but he's springier now than he was when the season started. If he sticks around next year, I'd wager that he takes a huge step forward next year for no other reason than S&C. Seems like he's progressed in that area very quickly. He played great tonight. His conditioning is not great but man, he was huge tonight.
I really miss those days.....He's the kind of kid that in the pre-NIL days would stick around for 3-4 years and grow into an NBA player. Players like Nick Richards or Nazr Mohammed.
That's what I see in Moreno.
We are missing Amari Williams, the big center from last year- we would be much different with on offense. Think about how many times he was practically playing "point center" on offense especially when Lamont Butler got hurt. I think that out Mr. Quintance could really take his passing game on offense to the next level if he would channel him some Amari Williams. I think that Pope relies on that type of center for his offense to truly succeed.I was just excited to see us run some of the offense we ran last year with the player movement off the ball with pop outs and back cuts, if we play that open floor style I'm actually excited to see the ceiling for this team.
Played inside-out too!I was just excited to see us run some of the offense we ran last year with the player movement off the ball with pop outs and back cuts, if we play that open floor style I'm actually excited to see the ceiling for this team.
I agree on all you say. He does need to work on FT form sir sure but he has improved and is hitting at about 68%. I'll take that from a 7 foot center though he could improve that with better form.He understands the offense and he has good hands . He needs to work on conditioning ,on FT and rebound ALWAYS with 2 hands. I love his game ! He is a Kentucky Boy, keep makings us proud!
Including 6 offensive boards17 points, 8 boards, 6 assists and 4 steals! Yep, that’ll do it!
He’s not looking over his shoulder anymore.he has looked like a really good player. He hasn't been bad this year but, most of the time, his play has ranged from not hurting the team to being a net negative. Tonight he was good.
IMO he's coming out. He has been playing conservatively learning the college game and trying not hurt the team I think he has adjusted to the speed of the game and feels confident in his role therefore more aggressive play. Just MHO.He’s not looking over his shoulder anymore.

The 4 steals really impressed me.Including 6 offensive boards
We had nine steals between Oweh and Moreno. That’s huge. The 4 steals really impressed me.
I felt like he had played this year like he was just relying on the height he could in HS. Last night he looked more aggressive and physical. He played really well last night.he has looked like a really good player. He hasn't been bad this year but, most of the time, his play has ranged from not hurting the team to being a net negative. Tonight he was good.
I hope this is a permanent ratcheting up of his confidence and ability to contribute.I felt like he had played this year like he was just relying on the height he could in HS. Last night he looked more aggressive and physical. He played really well last night.
Yeah we could be competitive with good teams if we shared the ball and moved like we did the last half of the game. More JJ, Jelly, and guys who want to play together.I was just excited to see us run some of the offense we ran last year with the player movement off the ball with pop outs and back cuts, if we play that open floor style I'm actually excited to see the ceiling for this team.
