That's great to hear! I was really worried when it showed him crying on the bench. Thought maybe the worst had happened.
Me too. I think the dude is a competitor and didn’t want to let his guys down.
That speaks volumes about Malik and his character.
After seeing the interviews and the way the other guys talk, I believe Malik is the true leader and heart and soul of this team.
I was blessed to be able to meet Malik before the UNC game. He's a great kid.
Thank God. Now I can exhale and breath again. The way he reacted on the bench once he came out of the locker room, I thought maybe he thought his season was over. In hindsight, it's really great to see a player who wants to win so badly that he's brought to tears when something like this happens. You can't teach that level of competitive drive.
I was selfishly hoping for a 'Willis Reed' moment.

What I don’t get about Malik returning to the bench is wouldn’t it had been more beneficial for him to ice & elevate it in the locker room? I’ve always been under the impression that the moments after this occurs are super critical in order to get a player back sooner? Yes? No?
Obviously from what little i know of MW, he was going to be on the bench with his brothers. Highly doubt he plays Sunday which will give him 11 days off, hopefully enough time to heal up and pick up where he left off--he was playing SO WELL!
They way those trainers work out the swelling, and hour or so won't matter. Once that shoe's off, the ballooning begins. They will push out that swelling and ice bath that ankle.
Yes. And? A boot just stabilizes the foot. The foot should be elevated and iced, no?

For all we know, the boots today might have ice dispensers built in.

Speaking of the Hulk.. Anyone with knowledge know if there is something going on with him? I don’t usually follow twitter but there were several tweets including family asking him if he was ok. I know it’s Twitter..
He tweeted out a broken heart symbol yesterday but there wasn’t anything else. Haven’t heard anything more about it.
Now I’m hearing the broken heart was for Lander picking IU over us. Apparently the two became friends on social media.
that's too bad about Lander. we are missing a point guard for our recruiting class. Scrubb may not play for us too.we will have to find a transfer.
