Man arrested for eating sandwich in Cali

Good thing he wasn't drinking a big gulp. He'd be looking at 10 to 20. Hey but keep voting in the people that pass these laws.
Why did they pass a law making it illegal to eat on a train platform? What is the reason behind it?
It sounds like one of those crazy laws on the books from 200 years ago that my son likes to read about in his Weird Facts books. I think there's one about it being illegal in KY to have an ice cream cone in your back pocket.

With all the problems CA has with opioids, homelessness, astronomical taxes, wildfires, lack of water, etc. This is a law they feel needs to be enforced? Good grief.
No plastic straws, no eating on train platforms, and a host of others. Is this what we really want when libs get complete control?
Need a couple of questions answered before I can make any conclusions...
1) Was it a Popeyes chicken sandwich?

I sure don't get the point of the law about not eating on the train platform .. whats the problem with that ? FWIW the guy being arrested doesn't need to act like an a hole .

You joke......but this is exactly what is happening in Texas.......they ****** up California and they will and have done the same every where they are in power....On the lighter side it is no longer illegal to solicit sex or to camp on the street in San Francisco....but don't eat on the BART......

Cause they can't afford it...easy when you are single or just a couple. Add kids and it becomes a struggle. Much easier to go to cheaper parts of the US - Arizona, Colorado and Texas.
We can hope and pray the Big One will hit Hollywood and drown all the fools that live in that piece of sh#t state. Only in That hell hole do the homeless, drug addicts, and unemployed actors think sh#ting on the street is a right and privledge.
