NU losing a football recruit to Duke seems like the equivalent of Duke losing a basketball recruit to NU. But maybe not given our status today.
We didn't lose a recruit to Duke. Look at his rating and the rating of the DE commit we have and the two with CB's to Nebraska. It is clear, he didn't have the option to commit to Nebraska today. There are plenty of problems with our football program, but this isn't one of them.
Verbal to Duke was expected, if reports are true, should have fairly good DE/DT recruits coming our way.
