It has been over a decade since I took lessons from Myra Blackwelder at Man O War. She is no longer there. However, I was impressed by the entire program and their professionalism. I wish I could tell you something specific about the junior program. I suspect that it is top notch.Anyone had any experience with this place? I know it is a driving range but I'm interested in the Junior Golf program for my daughter.
Opinions?
I've seen a few people post similar things. I had several lessons with him and don't have a bad word to say about him. He helped my game tremendously at the time.Brad is a *****, but he's a great teacher.

Well if you are Korean you get support from the government if you show promise.Think I'd just head on over to South Korea. They seem to have the ladies' golf thing figured out.

The kids go to regular school from 8-12 and then play golf the rest of the day. The Korean gov. Sends the really good players to Australia to practice when it's to cold to play their.
They have that golf thing figured out because they want everyone to play. Their are driving ranges in every small city and 100,s in the large ones. You still must be dedicated but it's much easier when your government supports the effort.
You're moving half a mile away so that your daughter can play golf a little more? Seems legit. Thanks guys, I really appreciate any information. My daughter has become quite the golfer here innTaiwan. She has copied her swing after Minjee Lee and hits it a mile. For someone ten years old she hits 200 yard drives and can really putt. Since she is going to be 5'10" or taller she has the physical stature to be a very good player.
I am moving back to Kentucky so she can play golf all the time, and want to make sure she gets the golf education she can't get here in Taiwan.
Again, thanks guys.
Your thinking like an American. To understand the Asian mind you must live here. Koreans, and most Asian countries see the amount they spend on golf as a good thing. They want everyone to get involved and out of millions they will find the best players and give them the resources to succeed.Well, much as I love the USA (and golf) I sure hope we don't decide to spend limited resources and tons of public money in hopes of developing a handful of world class golfers. Seems like a pretty F'ed up national priority to me. I can think of maybe 10,000 more important things to spend money on.
That's awesome, I often play with guys 7 times her age that can't hit that far. Thanks guys, I really appreciate any information. My daughter has become quite the golfer here innTaiwan. Why would you say that she can't hit a 200!yard drive? In fact, she hits it farther than my wife. She may be only 10 but she is already over 5 ft tall plus she is strong plus she has had two years of lessons from the same guy who taught The 3 LPGA players on the tour now.she hits 200 yard drives
False
Man, what is your problem. Do you just wake up every morning a prick or do you work at it all day.So, two more than you?
No, my parents were very nice to me and never put any kind of pressure on me like moving half a world away to play a game. It's obvious that you were abused as a child so go get help. Haha
And by the way, he goal in life is to play golf for UK and when she makes a put she says, Cats, Cats, Cats.
I am from Paintsville. My daughter was born in Taiwan with duel citizenship. I moved to Taiwan for my job and so my daughter could learn Chinese since that is her mothers language. She never picked up a golf club til two years ago.No, my parents were very nice to me and never put any kind of pressure on me like moving half a world away to play a game.
I really don't care.
I've been nothing other than helpful. Not sure what the problem is.I ask for information about Manowar. All you did was make rude comments about something you know nothing about. For someone who says they don't care you really had opinions about what is going on in my daughters life. Glad you don't care cause you have no opinion.
Have a nice day.
Child abuse isn't anything to laugh about. It's obvious that you were abused as a child Haha
