Figured we can keep track of some of the other conference tournaments here. DePaul has Creighton in OT in the Big East tournament.

Kansas escaped last night vs UCF. This may be Bill Self's worst defensive team ever. The 7' for KU is sort of worthless on the defensive end. Just awful. They were lazy hedging on screens and too frequently the KU defender just handed the ball handler over to someone else on screens, except the new defender didn't actually know that. I can understand why KU fans are frustrated. They play Arizona tonight.

In the SEC, Arkansas lost on a buzzer beater to Ole Miss. OU plays Kentucky tonight's. Right now Missouri and Miss St are in a tight game. Former Union standout Trent Pierce is a starter and key player for Mizzou. I remember Haith was in on him early but quickly fell out of that hunt.

I watched a lot of games today. Colorado has Michael Ruffin’s son and Julian Hammond’s grandson playing. Also Aston’s heart throb Danny Manning as an assistant. Also, Frank Haith looked good on the Texas bench and was excited after they upset A&M.

One of the game commentators made a comparison of Hunter Dickinson to Eric Chenowith who, in my opinion, is one of the worst players ever to put on a Kansas Basketball jersey. Hunter is terrible on defensive for a 7 footer, but he's not atrociously bad as Chenoworthless. But that's not saying much.

Did we even try to recruit Ruffin's kid?

I think we actually did if I remember correctly
Man, we need to start landing some of these legacy players. I mean, Ruffin's kid, Thompson, Lila Osceola and Tony Heard's daughter. I fully understand them wanting to create their own legacies and not wanting to be "so and so's kid" but it really sucks we don't even seem to be a true option for these kids.

Someone may need to check on Danny Hurley. Creighton handled UCONN in the. Big East semis and towards the end a Creighton player made a dunk and was sort of show boating and a UCONN player took umbrage. Pretty sure Hurley will start to throw insults out there about why should they be playing Creighton a team from Nebraska in the Big East. And then blame NIL and the fact half his players were already in free agent negotiations with other schools for next year (see the 60 Minutes interview).

GW probably deserves a post season berth but the 14 SEC teams getting in will prevent that.

Here is my rant. If you are not a 20 win team you should not be considered for the tourney period. If your Q1 and Q2 combined are under 50 percent you are in the last for in scenario. No conference champion should be playing in Dayton.

Last thing. Bubba Cunningham can eat a fat one. UNC should have never got in and he was the reason they did. He couldn’t go back to chapel hill after putting them out

Seriously, haven't these SEC, ACC, Big10. and Big 12 double digit loss teams proven they can't win the title. Maybe give the little guys with much fewer losses a shot? March sadness has arrived. Not to mention they will dine on way more credits. The rich get richer!

The greedy get greedier. Accomplishes two goals for them, gives to the big conferences and gets them closer and closer to eliminating the G5 schools permanently from being, 'the competition.'

I detest UH but Duke is the worst. Happy to see the dookies choke.

Proctor had an easy open pass with a few seconds to go to 8-8 FT Flagg but wanted to get his 50% FT *** fouled to win for his ego and then missed the winning one and one.

Detest Houston, but hate Duke. At 69 years old it would be nice to see Kelvin get a National Championship; as long as we recognize it as Kelvin’s National Championship. In the end since it’s not going to be Duke or A-hole Hurley walking away with another trophy the world is a better place.

Proctor may never play for Duke again after his selfish refusal to pass the ball to Flagg with 10 seconds to go.
