A vast majority of these guys aren't going to the NFL so a college degree would be a nice thing to have. I only went to one university, but I can imagine going to a new school would be a major pain in the butt. Seems like this isn't even part of the equation for college athletes anymore.

From my understanding, once a player enters the portal the scholarship ends at the end of the semester. If he chooses to stay, the school does NOT have to honor any scholarship. They may choose to do so, but are not required to do so.You give kids choices today they usually will make a bad one. For me the ones that are jumping ship had doubts about their choice all along. Don't wanna be here then bye bye. When a HC jumps ship it would certainly put a doubt in players minds that maybe he saw something or knew something they didn't. Maybe OU isn't serious about winning National Titles as they say they are. Its been mentioned here before that OU seems to be ok with winning Big 12 Titles but not much more. With the NIL now they better get serious or we will be left behind in the dust.
