Full interview, after one year at Kentucky. I love our coach !
So this means brandon will leave/transfer after next season regardless what result?Good stuff:
*He praised BBN on his presentation a year ago, how he used the images from Rupp arena to recruit his first year team.
*He mentioned on how the presser after the loss on SS, Carr, Brea and Amari were trying to recruit to Kentucky portal players , saying what a great and unique experience it is to play for BBN.
He mentioned the last year 12 scholarships, injuries, physicality of of SEC not only on the glass, but also on impeding the speed of the game by allowing grabbing, holding, would influence the number and type of players we are getting this year.
*Brandon Garrison on a two years plan when he got recruited , special relationship with Amari, who mentored him. Brandon has been instrumental on building the depth of the front court for this year. He hopes that Brandon will be mentoring the new guys, he works hard and has big plans for the incoming year.
I think it means that Brandon wants to play in nba. If that happens that means he will have a great second year. It make sense, first starting shooting the 3 , trained with big body of Amari every day, now this year he should be the man.So this means brandon will leave/transfer after next season regardless what result?
YES !! He DEFINITELY needs to show significant improvement in his third year of college. Other than shooting forty (40) threes last year, after not attempting a single one at Oklahoma State, I do not see much statistical improvement over his Freshman season. With NBA dreams in mind, he REALLY needs to have a step-up in productivity and consistency this season. Hopefully, he will and our team will be much better as a result.I think it means that Brandon wants to play in nba. If that happens that means he will have a great second year. He needs to rebound and defend significant better and improves a lot in 3pt shooting to be even a second rounder or two-way contract playerHe DEFINITELY needs to show significant improvement in his third year of college. Check out the comparison of his first two (2) season, especially the PER 40 numbers:

I thought BG was our best frontcourt defender. There were games that set the tone for us with his blocks and energy. He needs to rebound and defend significant better and improves a lot in 3pt shooting to be even a second rounder or two-way contract player
