I’m ok with a coach genuinely encouraging a player to go or stay if it’s what’s best for them.
Goals should be as such:
Win the next game
Win the league
Win the SECT
Win the NCAAT
None should take a back seat to any goal ahead of them.
Win the next game is the only thing that matters. One game at a time.
It sure feels damn good having a leader who at least publicly cares about winning.
