Post wasn't in support one way or another taking a stance on Z coming back. Just love how BBN went right to the horse's mouth with a question he wanted to ask though Pope couldn't answer him.
I’m glad roster construction is a “focus”. And I don’t know why they’d still be analyzing what went wrong. They should’ve known that in real time. I hope they’re not going to spend too much time on analytics while other teams are signing their main pieces.

This is the first Mark Pope show I listened to this year. It is so nice to have such an intelligent coach who loves the provram leading the way.
If coach can win the portal this year, next year could be really great and be the start of a geat era for UK. Winning the portal is not an easy task with other programs willing to significantly overspend on players.
Practice facility needs to be state of the art. This is the sort of thing we need to draw players from othe parts if the US.. but I trust it's going to be over the top.
I don't care that he left. I could get over that. The fact is, he doesn't doesn't have the body or mind for SEC play. If Noah needs 20lbs of muscle, Z needs about 60lbs. Nothing against Z, but he needs to get out of the SEC if he wants a chance to shine.

Did they actually say something along the lines of "we'll spend $30M on the practice facility"? Cause that would be stone cold.
People keep saying chill what about all these other teams that are going to swoop in and take all the good players out of the portal? Then what? This is why you strike while the iron is hot? Isn’t there supposed to be a ruling on April 7th all these good portal players probably want to be locked up by then. Here we are again taking the 2nd and 3rd tier portal players if that happens then we are looking once again at sweet 16 as our ceiling! The assignment as Pope knows is to hang banners and we don’t hang sweet 16 banners this isn’t Indiana!
He said the analysis will take 4 months and then they’ll start focusing on trying to sign players in August
It's embarrassing to be a grown man and panicking on the internet that they haven't signed players quick enough for you.
How about you worry about you and I worry about me! We will get along just fine that way!
Good players still have to go thru the draft process and a lot will withdrew and Do you not remember last szn?? Pope had to hire a full staff and field a whole roster at the back end of thr portal and if not for injuries they had a very good chance of still playing right now.
So keep panicking if you like.
Last week a guy called and asked him what he was going to do to beat Tennessee. Coach replied I probably shouldn't put that out there.
Even with the injuries Pope still needs to come into this season upgrading the roster plain and simple. I mean he did great throwing everything together last minute last year but this year he has to upgrade to be able to compete at that next level. I guess we shall see how this goes with the portal in the next couple of months.
They get right to the point. They should know what to expect but ask anyway. Of course, Bob in Jamestown always getting through.
I feel like the staff knows what they need to improve on.
Kam Williams is a good example …long athletic players that can shoot and play D. I think we will definitely see upgrades that fans are wanting. Players are hitting the portal every couple hours …yeah there will be misses but that’s something damn near every single coach will endure in this new portal era.
That player that Louisville just got is a STUD! I guess I need to be more patient but I do know that Pope needs upgrades in the worst of ways.
Tough guys who don't mind physicality, will play defense, and can rebound definitely a priority.
Guess they can leave. I want the best players to help win big next year.
