I find these a bit troubling:
"On if taking Drew Barker out was about score or performance: “Actually, early on we had every intention of playing Stephen (Johnson). We just couldn’t get enough plays and we weren’t getting first downs. So, we didn’t have that opportunity. Then, later on we just wanted to give them that spark, we wanted to get the plays that we wanted to get him into the game.”

Is it smart to have a "designed" package of plays for the backup QB with zero Division 1 or SEC experience on the road against UF in one of the most hostile environments?
Two things come to mind: either Stoops thought we would be so ahead that he could afford to do it, or he thought we would be so behind that the results wouldn't matter.
The correct time to implement that would've been LAST WEEK at home, against a lesser opponent.
Notice how Florida didn't take their starter out until they were up 45-0.
Comments like that from Stoops bother me. If during the week the coaches are coming up with the strategy and part of it is to get the backup QB into the game, it is either due to an injury to the starter, being comfortably ahead, or being too far behind. Again can't see the logic in it. You have a starter with little experience, first road start, and your plan is to get the backup some plays. SMH.....
