In the upcoming election, 9 states will vote on marijuana.

How do I capitalize on this? Are there any stocks that would be best to invest in now? What about what companies to keep an eye on?

^Thats what I'm reading as well. One website said it might be better to buy a basket of several companies rather than just one since they tend to be volatile.

Part of me thinks that I might pass for the time being. I'm not much of a risk taker. Although I didn come across GW Pharmaceuticals out of London who are the world leader in pot pharms. They'd likely be more stable than others. I just want to capitalize on something that I think is going absolutely explode in the next 5-10 yrs.

The problem will be getting people in the market to get out there and do something once this thing catches fire.

Threw a couple hundred at MJNA stock a year or so ago just because, it had been hovering around $.05 for most of that time but has shot up to $.20 the last few days. Glad you started this thread so I could sell it today.

You can win big in these stocks. Ill probably spread some money out on the field and hope to hit the giant

I would stay out of the penny stocks, as it seems very risky/shady. Think about industries that will prosper if mary jane gets the ok. Maybe sock some money into Pepsico (they own Frito Lay).

If you want to take more risk, look for a company that makes some sort of breathalyzer for pot.

I wasn't really picturing pennies but rather which of the larger companies would seize the opportunity. For instance, "Paul's Pot" probably won't have the starting capital to develop a player in the business.....however if Pfizer wanted to get in the game, they'd have billions to throw around.

I lost a bit of money trying to make money. Until the feds approve it, the the FDIC won't insure it. I will not give money to anyone else other than government.
