I read somewhere that she doesn't have health insurance. Is she broke or just chose not to have it?

I saw that too, but what rational person in their mid 50's chooses not to have health insurance? I've got to think she can't afford it. Which is shocking considering her fame in the 80's. She was everywhere.

I thought it was bizarre. Not saying that she couldn't be flat broke, but she's had lots of endorsements over the years and some TV & movie appearances. Up until 2018, she was also married to a supposedly successful Houston real estate developer. Of course, things aren't always as they seem.

With the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) providing subsidies for health insurance (the less you earn the more the govt covers your costs), it's hard to use "can't afford it" as an excuse for not having insurance.

She also made endorsements for decades. She should have money...

She’s got plenty of cash. She lives in a 2.5 million dollar home from what I read. She chose to not have health insurance or any of that jazz because she didn’t think she needed it.
