The article says it was filmed from the 17th floor of a hotel. The people on the beach are far below, giving the illusion that the bird and fish are huge.

More than likely an Osprey! I live in a 9th floor Florida Condo and watch them swoop down and catch fish all the time. Some are quite big fish. Also saw one get an eel the other day!!
I saw the video on the news earlier pretty cool stuff. I DGAS what anyone says about angles and depth perception, etc that’s a big *** bird and fish. Def isn’t a shark as someone on the video said but I’ve never seen a fish that big carried by a bird.
