Wow. 2 very tough matches starting on Friday. Didn’t realize Ohio State and Nebraska had so many highly ranked wrestlers. Should be a great time.

Most important match, IMO, is Drew. There are a lot of decent 125's in the B1Gs. would be nice for seeding.

125 should be a good match. I also think 149 an 165 , where we are underdogs and both OS guys are NCAA contenders, will be a good barometer to see where our guys are at this point. Can Berge respond better to this caliber of wrestler will be interesting to see how plays out. I'm sure he and coaching staff will be preparing differently for Karchula. At 157, I wonder if we see Gardener or if they just decide to keep putting Barraclaugh out there. It could be a match he could win.

Malik H 125 for OSU is tough on his feet. That’s where he beat Ayala from Iowa. Drew must protect his legs better. Should be a great match.

PSU will probably go 7-3 vs. both opponents. Some good matches and great back to back opponents as they head into February and then tournament time. Punxsutawney Phil always reminds me of that. Spring starts when nationals concludes!
