Moving on to the next big thing, what are the thoughts on matchups and predictions for Nebby? Going to be a big, competitive dual. Can the Hawks right the ship?

I will take a stab:
125: Peterson should win easily and Hawks could sure use bonus here but calling dec. 3-0
133: Drake needs to right things and gets it done in a toss up by close dec in the 3rd. 6-0
141: Never want to gas on Hardy. Bailey gets tossed around like rag doll. TF 6-5
149: Big match for Ryder, type that will determine AA. Lamer going to be motivated
by Go Big Red homers but Ryder too much if doesn't gas. 9-5
157: Taylor gets a little help from ref and pulls away in the 3rd for decision. 9-8
165: Arajou holds off Cali TF but loses by MD. 13-8
174 Minto another big move guy that PK could walk into like ISU match. Upset loss. 13-11
184: Angelo with less knee time and will win comfy but only by decision. 16-11
197: McDaniel whups up on Brody or Harvey. Heres where we really need Mo. TF 16-16
285: AJ too much for BK at this time but it is ala AJ close decisions. Don't take down BK 16-19
33, 49, 57, and 74 are all toss ups and could swing this meet. If one team wins 3 of these battles its over. Go
Hawks. Lincoln is close enough that I might be there but depends on the weather and if there is tickets. Im sure Devaney Center will be packed either way. Would love to get some Lets Go Hawks going down there.
Edit: Seen Angelo tweaked something with knee against Rocco. If he is held out, that will swing Nebby against Gabe and would mean Hawks would have to sweep the toss ups.

I don’t recall AJ embarrassing anyone ever but himself. One td (50%) Zero td (45%) Two td (5%).
Far too much familiarity for this to be a rout. Plus I think AJ and BK got along just fine when he was in the room. No reason for him to do anything but wrestle. Should be a decent match.
How in the world could Angelo tweak his knee when it was on the mat 90% of the time against Rocco?
What would BK need redemption from? I don't think they have ever wrestled unless something from when AJ was in the room.
You getting BK confused with Zach Glazier? Only explanation I could think of.

Your tally is a little difficult to follow. Team scores appear to switch. But either way, AJ under no circumstances will major BK. A freak fall is more likely than multiple take downs and/or turns.

125: Top 6 vs unranked. Peterson really needs to step up and score bonus points here. 4-0
133: Would be nice if our 2x finalist could get his record to .500 for the season. 7-0
141: Hopefully Bailey still has some energy left after his track meet victory Friday. Hardy bonus. 7-4
149: One of the guys who wrestled hard Friday. Similar effort would get us bonus points. 11-4
157: Feels like we're going to have a similar match to last week. Taylor gets a late TD to seal the deal. 11-7
165: Araujo is a strong freshman but Mikey gets it done. Hopefully he bounces back and pushes for a major, but I'll say DEC 14-7
174: Another tough Husker. Hopefully PK is pissed about not going last week and gets rolling early. 17-7
184: Angelo is great but now has 2 losses on his record where he didn't give up a TD. That cannot happen!!! Another close AF match. 20-7

HWT: Would like to see a little fire out of BK. Feel like he's wrestling injured again because he's been very unimpressive so far. Feel like this one could get chippy, possibly even dirty. 20-14.
I'll take a 6-4 victory. We have some guys with something to prove this week. Hopefully they come out strong as we know NU will be fired up for this one.
Looks like cold arse weather upcoming Friday night...not as bad as our last trip to Lincoln but frigid cold. My living room will be warm and I want something to get excited about!!!

He tweaked it on the edge when Rocco shot him out of bounds. You can see it buckle a bit and he kept trying to shake it out.
I bet we see Gabe at 184. He has beaten Allred before there.
People are really low on Ludington, huh? Sure he's lost three matches and had little for Novak, but he could've flipped both the other matches and didn't come close to giving up bonus. McDaniel is hardly bonusing anyone as it is and most of them are below Harvey's level right now. If he does try for bonus because they need it I think he'll get burned in the process. If Sampson goes that's different so I'd imagine both weigh in to see what we need when we reach that weight.

Haven't seen anything from him yet that tells me he's capable of winning big matches for us.

I don't think anyone is low on him. Just if he cant get out from bottom then what's the point of burning a shirt? That disadvantage wont likely getting him qualified at BIGS. Unless there is a lesson by fire to be had here....which I dont see would help him or the program.
Manning basically said we knew he has issues and we accept that, so nothing to see here. I think AJ would have to get convicted of a major felony to get kicked off Nebraska.
Vegas odds are Iowa by anywhere from 4-6 points with the over/under being around 38 points. Like some of you I think it will be much closer.

Me too. With us punting at 197 Iowa needs to win 6 matches imo to win the dual. If Angelo doesn't go that will leave no margin for error. I would be very happy if Iowa wins the dual by 6 or more points honestly.
