That's not very compelling bulletin board material IMO. Both Dawson and the UK staff and players have all said the right things leading up to the game but you can bet your next paycheck both sides want to whip up on the other to a make a point.
Can I go on record as saying I absolutely despise the term "throwing shade." I turn 33 next Tuesday so I'm not exactly old, but man, I have an inexplicable hatred of that term.
I also hate it because it's always used incorrectly. that is not shade. Shade is more passive aggressive or damming with faint praise.
Sounded like Elam was a little too honest. Won't get in trouble, but may get a little lesson in being more "political".
How fitting it was a D lineman who threw this weak azz shade. Going to be a weak point in more areas than just stopping runs I see.
