I never thought I'd be to the point where I would like a UT lover/UK basher over a rabid UK fan.
Matt loves him some politics but he got the boo boo lip when he took on McConnell and got his wings clipped. His reaction when one of the most powerful people in Washington returned fire was priceless.

I don't know any fan that truly loves sports that wants politics involved in any way in sports. If athletes and coaches want to get into politics they better be prepared fully for what they are doing. Politics is a savage as it gets and it's beyond ugly.

How is getting the president involved in playing football considered political, when Matt himself has said the basketball teams’s post in support of BLM wasn’t really the same Marxist, terrorist, anarchist BLM yet the players named Michael Brown who was the reason it started?
That’s because he is a politician himself. He took the necessary route to try and gain a following & influence. That route just happened to be through UK sports.
Matt Jones made the mistake of being in Kentucky who will be on the wrong side of history. But, for Kentucky basketball he is great.

I like Matt and I know he is a very smart individual. But for him to have believed he could have any chance of beating the most powerful senator in Washington was a joke. Matt has never held the office of dog catcher. Self confidence is one thing but reality is another.
