Those guys ripped Stoops about as hard as a UK-based talk show can do. All spot on. Stoops has lost the fan base...
He made some interesting comments about Baker maybe sandbagging for Towles and playing harder for Barker.
It is fact...watch the game. Baker does not even try when Towles is in...yet Towles continues to throw at him. Baker won't block..drops balls and refuses to fight for 50/50 balls.

Actually, I was driving from twin city, ga to Atlanta and was watching the game on ESPN watch. My wife was watching with me and asked why Baker was not finishing plays. I saw two plays where he whiffed on blocks and two where he did not run or fight for the ball. I told her that Baker wanted Barker and did not want to put forth effort for Patrick...sadly, I am right.
This team makes me effing sick!!! They would rather sandbag each other than unite to win. I, as a 21 season ticket holder will not attend another game. Don't know when I will nor do I care. I posted after the MSU game that my wife said UK football is not for you...She screamed and moaned during our drive whereas I had to calm her down.

I'm sorry, people can hate me all they want, but listening to John Short makes me want to kick puppies. His "5 biguns" schtik is old and tied and needs to be put out to pasture.
Short is a longtime fan and goes back to the Cawood Ledford days. He's a perpetual optimist. I understand the 'old schtick' thing, but he's earned his keep. I just wish he was correct most of the time...
Truly pathetic. I'm wondering if the Boom drama from earlier might have been related to this nonsense. It appears Stoops needs to make some moves to get rid of some cancer.
Yeah Jones was calling the game. I was at Rupp and saw him up close and personal right after the game ended near the court. I know this shocks you all but I refrained from going to get an autograph of the "legend" that is MJ.
I didn't hear the post-game, but from what everyone is saying in this thread it actually sounds like they made good points that I agree with. That game yesterday was a purely unacceptable loss IMO.

I agree. It's totally obvious. I've felt this has been going on for a while but it was never as obvious as it was yesterday. Stoops needs to man up and bench Baker for the remainder of the season. I don't care if he transfers.
This needs to be discussed loudly and often. Half the people on this board are ready to crucify Towles, when we've got players sabotaging him in favor of their running buddies. It's hard to imagine a player intentionally missing a block and allowing his QB to get crushed, or intentionally dropping passes. That's not a teammate. I keep thinking about the 3rd down play late in the 4th. Did it cost us the game yesterday?
