Wow MN is giving us some great minutes and looks like he can be a contributor. It’s odd that no one (not a single poster) has ever brought up this idea on this board before. You would think that someone would have at least thrown it out there as an interesting theory. Oh well!

In a few years time, the wandering minstrels of Northwestern will be singing the ballad of Matt Nicholson (Le Chanson de Nicholson ) around the country. He is already on par with Evan Watkins and Ben Johnson in Northwestern lore. The new football stadium will probably have and Italian beef and pepper sandwich named for him: The Big Nick. It will be on a foot-long hoagie with lots of Giardiniera.

Don't look now, but Big Matt is leading all Big Ten centers with 9.2 assists per 40 minutes in conference games. Trevion Williams is 2nd with 4.1 assists per 40.
Rebounding is not Matt's strong suit, I guess. He's tied for 2nd in rebounds per 40 minutes with some stiff named Zach Edey. They have 18.5 rebounds per 40 minutes, trailing a bum named Kofi Cockburn, who has grabbed 19.6 rebounds per 40 minutes.
