Kind of surprised no one has said anything about what Alabama did when the
kid said he was going to transfer to Georgia. His locker was trashed and belongings thrown in the garbage can. He's a fifth year senior and wanted to transfer to Georgia but Nick said no but did ok Miami. The kid then decided back to Georgia when it all went down, story on ESPN.

I'm not surprised. Alabama has someone who hides everything that goes down. Cam Robinson shouldn't be able to play this season. He's starting the opener. Their DL coach gets fired. Haven't heard much about that since that. It was obviously something bad and now this.

I am a little surprised he wanted to leave, he come out of spring practice as starting nickle back, I guess that's subject to change when the frosh report. Not surprised Saban blocked him transferring to UGA or any other school though. I do understand not wanting players you may have to play against being so familiar with your system, but if Saban wanted to leave today, even under contract, he could be gone and nothing Bama could do about it. College athletics is pretty unbalanced in favor of the schools.

Kid is going to fight it, but the reality is we started fall camp Monday, Bama starts tomorrow I think. But the flip side is he has worked for a DB coach a year and our head coach and Bama's former DB coach 2. He is probably ahead of any of our guys at our own defense.. Too bad he wasn't a DL, we need them much worse.

I hate the SEC rule where they can block a kid from transferring. The kid graduated in 3 years and wanted to go to grad school at GA and they blocked him then trashed his locker and threw out his personal belongings. College football is out of control in many places and in my opinion Alabama is leading the way.

I know there used to be an SEC rule that blocked players from transferring from one SEC school to another. Far as I know, that rules is no longer in place. Seems like this is just the NCAA rule that requires a player to get a release. Since schools can put what ever restriction they want on the release such as limiting the schools.

I agree, this stinks.
