He could have done that as a Sooner.

I do not believe Ross was missed.
Westbrook and Mixon did well on punt and kickoff returns.
My guess for 2017 return specialists are among Jones, Marquise Brown, Tre Brown, and Motley.

Ross hurt his ankle early in the season... most of his carries were in the first game against WVU for 67 yards. He didn't play again until October...
