For NU to move up, someone needs to vacate a spot. The only team ranked 20-25 that lost was Xavier and they lost to a higher ranked Cincinnati team. They would need to drop 4 spots in the Coaches poll to fall out. I do not see that happening. In the AP poll they are 24 and could possibly drop 2 spots. Kansas State was 26 but they lost as well, but this will mean nothing unless NU wins today.
I don't see enough exclamation points in your post to justify the comparison in your thread subject. And your question is a salient one at that, further reducing your similarities with wrassler (J/K).
If we win big (15+ point victory), I think we'll be ranked. Otherwise we'll have to wait a bit longer.
First of all, I am psychically disturbed, so unless u go out and do crack or speed, u won't reach my demented heights of grandiousity. That being said, 7-2 and third place in BT gets us top 25 tomorrow as Indiana is a big name in college hoops.
Since we're in the low 30s in most power ratings, a victory today over a similarly ranked top 50 team should do it. If you mean the popularity contests, I assume we would bump a couple of teams with our 3 straight victories (if we get this one) over red teams. We are getting to be enough of a story to bump someone. If not, I don't care as long as we win.
