Colbert Report taking orders from Libs and the Clintons. We saw from other Wikileaks documents that Politico, CNN and NBC also colluded with Dems. And for those that claim Colbert is not political, you may want to look at surveys of where people get their news, especially Millennials.

My hope is that Trump upsets the media applecart in a huge way. This corruption must stop. Talk about fake news.

A new revelation from Wikileaks suggests liberal TV host Stephen Colbert has been working behind the scenes with the Clintons.

Red Alert Politics reports:

Wikileaks: Colbert Report took orders from Clinton group

Stephen Colbert’s role as the conservative newsman on the Comedy Central hit show, The Colbert Report, was a prime source of news for many millennials. It was also a chief avenue of propaganda for the Clintons years before Hillary ran for president.

Wikileaks revealed on Tuesday that Colbert and his team at Comedy Central were making episodes at the request or order of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) back in April of 2013.

Craig Minassian of the Clinton group e-mailed John Podesta, the close ally and future campaign manager for Hillary, to see if he saw a specific episode of the show that they pitched.

“I hope you got a chance to see the The Colbert Report’s two special episodes I had them do about CGI U that we taped in St. Louis this weekend,” Minassian said in the e-mail. “This is the link to last nights with a sketch about commitments and the monologue and WJC (Bill Clinton) interview aired Monday. Hope you enjoy and looking forward to your feedback. Next will be your Colbert appearance!”

Was there ever a time EVER that you thought Colbert WAS NOT a supporter of the Republican Party? If so, your judgement sucks. He's an entertainer. Whose next? Lewis Black?

So? It's like saying Trump colluded with Fox News.[roll]... meanwhile there's a new lawsuit to expose the collusion between Trump, Giuliani, and the FBI on their fake warrant for e-mails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Can you say IMPEACHMENT?

You realize that the Colbert Report was a show spoofing Bill O'Reilly right? I guess you could call it satire or comedy. It was not a news show, thus it wasn't media. He did have lots of newsmakers on the show but I can't imagine anyone getting their news from a satirical show. It has been said that some young people got their "news" from the Daily Show but that's another thread. Getting you "news" from the Colbert Report would be like getting your news from The Onion.

I don't disagree that no one in their right mind should get their news from either Jon Steward to Colbert, but the facts don't back up that belief.

Many on Fox hatred Trump and their programs reflected that. Murcoch hated Trump. Megyn hated Trump, for obvious reasons. Shep Smith hated Trump. The vast majority of Bret Baier's routine panelists hated Trump (Krauthhammer, Liason, Hayes).

Hannity on the other hand loved Trump and O'Reilly was fair to Trump, both criticizing and praising.

Is there anyone in your household that is sane, that you could bounce ideas off of prior to posting?

He put his big boy pants on and pulverized the lady with the larger pants on, Obama's lackey and third term advocate. Even with the media corruption.

It's going to get interesting after inauguration day. He's kind of doing what he wants now with his one way tweet storms but he can't keep avoiding the press. I can't imagine a prez not having to answer media questions at least some of the time. He's got to be the thinnest skinned prez ever, should be fun.

You'd better get used to seeing Alec Baldwin on SNL...a lot.

So do you deny the collusion? With Politico? With CNN? With NBC? And now with Colbert? Do you dispute that a fairly significant percentage of Americans got their news from Colbert (as stupid as they must be, and of course they are libs).

There was no collusion. They didn't like Trump; they were intelligent enough to realize he is a complete buffoon. They hoped, like everyone else with some intelligence and sanity, that he wouldn't win.

So, if you are asking me if they reported his nonsense ad nauseum, the answer is yes. He gave them a lot of material to work with.

You've probably never watched Colbert. If you did, you would have seen that he made fun of Hillary a lot....and it was funny. That is the point of his show.

Surely, you can't be serious? CNN sent Hillary town hall questions in advance and this is not a problem for you because CNN didn't like Hillary's opponent? Politico sent advanced copies of stories for Dem approval before publication because they didn't like Hillary's opponent, and his does not bother you? When NBC in the form of John Harwood, who moderated a debate, sends Clinton an email telling her he is writing a story about her that she will like, and you are ok with this?

Forget about Trump. The media is critical to our democracy and our government. If they are not fair, balanced and instead steer elections, it may not bother you now, but when they steer elections in directions you don't like, I suspect it will become important to you. We need a media, but it must be without bias or corruption. Just present the facts and let the readers decide. That is good journalism.

Colbert is a big time lib. He colluded with Clinton. He has influence, even though he should have none. That's why Clinton and her campaign reached out to him. He has influence.

Not deflection. You mock Trump and I simply point out that he beat your candidate and will sit in the Oval Office while she sits at home.
Is a deflection. This was about Biff and your hoping he would pants Colbert.

Knowing Trump's addiction to being on camera....

I agree with you that Trump is an adolescent idiot. He is a narcissist with an outsized ego. I didn't vote for him in the primaries. He was last of the 17 running for me. However, I did vote for him in the general because I much preferred his policies to Clinton's and while Trump lies and exaggerates, Hillary is expert at lying and destroyed her credibility as Commander in Chief with her callous, selfish use of a private server.

I like the fact that both parties, for the most part, dislike Trump. He is neither conservative nor liberal. There are many, many prominent conservative NEVERTRUMPers still alive and well (George Will, Krauthhammer, Lowry, Hayes, Goldberg, etc.). They think he is destroying conservatism.

He is a populist. He wants the middle class to get their jobs back (some think it impossible, I am not in that camp in that I think we can rebuild jobs in this country, at least to a significant degree). He is going to spend $1T on infrastructure, which conservatives hate. He is going to provide child care, which conservatives hate. He is going to lower taxes, both corporate and individual, which libs hate. He is going to repatriate corporate profits at a very small tax rate which libs hate. He is going to destroy regulations which libs hate. He loves all forms of energy which libs hate. I think he will finish the wall, which libs hate, but will ultimately only deport illegal aliens with felony convictions (which I think everyone likes).

I think we are going to see some strange alliances between Trump and Congress depending on the issue.

CNN apologized profusely. Donna Brazile was essentially fired. No one denied the emails. They tried to explain them away, but no one denied their accuracy. No one. We need a media that is honest and trustworthy. Today, just 6% of Americans trust the news.

They can't steer elections. They can't mislead or not present both sides of the story. They have special Constitutional protections for a reason. To hold the powerful to account. If they openly root for one side, they have failed and don't deserve special protections.
