AKA Suboxine clinics, whats your thoughts on these? Reason I'm asking, I'm a parole officer and I was recently offered a job with one of these places here in Central Ky. I'm currently not a licensed counselor but I'm about half way through a masters program in counseling. The company is offering bout a 5-6k a year raise from what I currently make( aint shat). I've done a little research on this but I was wondering what the all wise Paddock thought on this type of treatment. I anxiously await the input:eek:kay:

I have some insight into this field so kudos to you for pursuing this line of work. Those clinics are a double edged sword and can certainly spark debate on how to treat addiction. That said, people who help those who need treatment have a special place in my heart. Tough battle to wage daily.

On a side note, that whole field in general doesn't pay great. But man, you can change and save some lives.
