Just signed up to be installed at first of the month. Anyone else tried it? I am keeping all the cable TV package I could ever want + 1GB of coax internet speed, for about $100 less per month than I am paying for Direct TV and Spectrum. (Don't want to completely cut the cable yet)

Anyone else tried their service? What do you think so far?

Thinking about it. What part of town are you in? Did they make you put down a deposit?

Off TC road near Arboretum. 50 dollar installation which they will waive if you do auto pay, but no deposit

Just installed, initial impression is awesome, internet speed is like lightning compared to Spectrum, cable TV package has all the channels I need, whole house DVR, can record/replay on any TV, plus $100 a month savings in my pocket. No contract, can add random sports channels this fall, e.g., ESPNU and Big10 network for $10 per month more.

Only small glitch is that they had to make two trips to install it, first guy did not know how to install the main source into my man cave in basement so they sent his supervisor over a few days later and hooked it up in a little over three hours. I am a fan (so far, until they start jacking up the prices like they all do)

Most fun I had was calling up Spectrum and Direct TV to cancel and both kept me on the phone for 10 minutes offering better and better deals to keep me as a customer. Well . . . just a thought, but maybe if you had made those offers three months ago, I would still be your customer.

I don’t think Metronet will necessarily be a better option but at least they’ll be another option. We’ll finally have leverage against internet, when they jack up prices we can just switch and get the new customer discount.

Can’t wait to tell Spectrum I’m dropping them though.

Had it for about 6 months. One of first areas to get it. Zero regrets.

I enjoyed my call with Direct TV today cancelling my account. They offered a $40 monthly discount but I told them they should have offered that sooner. I have been trying an internet streaming service and will be saving $1600 per year.

Never had an issue w/ Spectrum, outside their incompetence from the customer service side. Once I get past that, the equipment/service/speed is excellent.
