When Terrence Parsons heard his son, five-star pass rusher Micah Parsons, gush about a summer visit to Nebraska's Friday Night Lights camp, he was intrigued.

"I asked him, 'Are you seriously considering Nebraska?' " Terrence said, wondering if Micah's interest was genuine or fueled by good friend Brendan Radley-Hiles. "And he told me he really did like it."

So the family is coming to see for themselves Oct. 7, when the Huskers host Wisconsin.
Terrence, "a die-hard Penn State fan," said he gets the sense Micah wants to leave the state. Micah was committed to Penn State for several months, but decommitted in April. Terrence likes Ohio State in part because of defensive line coach Larry Johnson, who spent nearly two decades at PSU before heading to Ohio State in 2014.

I think he is is better off playing for Ohio State than a "third-rate" school like Nebraska. You guy's are no longer a ranked program, recruiting is awful,academics aren't up to Big 10 standards (not an AAU school) and your in the middle of nowhere.

he'll be at PSU this weekend... he might be wearing out his welcome a bit with both PSU and OSU.. his best friends are Shaquan Anderson Butts (PSU Verbal) and Damion Barber (PSU frosh that Parsons actually lived with for a while) There are those in Harrisburg who claim he is simply playing everybody and is silent to PSU.

Most believe that it won't matter what he says or he verbals too until the final day of December. Nebraska has he big fish/small pond thing working.. and I believe you guys are courting him harder than OSU or PSU. Reportedly him and Franklin had a serious conversation where Franklin told him to tone it down a bit.. with Parsons dad who is heavily favoring PSU. But Parsons is an independent kid who actually crashed with Daminon Barber while playing for Harrisburg after a schism parting with his Catholic HS power (McDevitt?)

Supposedly the McDevitt staff and kids couldn't get rid of him fast enough. Whoever gets Parsons might have their hands full. His dad feels he lacks maturity and that PSU has extensive mentoring while also being close enough for dad to monitor. Mom is a bit on the outs from what I here.
