Haters are going to learn sooner or later that right now, Duke is the best team in the country. I just saw an ESPN article saying Baylor should be the number 1 team in the country and the ACC is a mess. Just read the headline, which was enough to not even bother going any further.

If Duke stays healthy, time will tell. Seems like everybody else can have a bad loss except Duke. To the unbiased eye, nobody is playing better than Duke since their one loss.

Like you said, haters gonna hate. All but 2 of our wins this season except for two have been by double digits and the two that weren’t by double digits were both one basket away from being double digit wins. How many other teams this season can say that almost all of their wins have been by double digits.

Healthy is the key factor. We know what it's like to be healthy and what it's like not to be healthy. Look what it's doing to hof coach roy williams. He's not handling it well at all. OFC

I didn’t see the first half but so far in the second half, every time MSU has cut into the lead Purdue has taken it right back up to 16.

Exactly Diehard. But no biggie right, in due time the excuses and doubts will run out. We all come to our senses sooner or later.

I totally agree about the health part. Even when we weren't healthy at times, K still was just as professional about it and didnt make excuses. But at this point in college basketball, nobody is playing better than Duke, especially on the road.

There's still enough time left for MSU. Just ask hof coach roy williams. Let's see what Purdue's got. OFC

Yes it does. Under the radar and straight handling business without a word unless it's a loss, but since it's only been one loss so far, they continue to fly under the radar. There's a storm coming that the National Weather Service named Duke and people didnt test out their storm warning devices.

SF Austin loss is like a freakin' invisibility cloak lol We just keep doing our thing and no one notices because of that loss. And now they're lining up their next reason to ignore us: the ACC is bad (which it is.) I love being The Show. I do. But I also love teams that just sneak up on the world and silently ascend to greatness. But that's just me!

MSU - for a pre-season #1 they certainly dont look like they have depth. Have they lost some players to injury?

I think time is just about out for MSU I’m this game because they’re down 26 with less than 4 minute to go. Roy would probably throw them under the bus for the loss then say he should be fired. lol

Exactly. Just like in 2010, they made everybody other than Duke fans look and question what they actually knew lol. It's one thing to sorta fly under the radar, but to try and come up with reasons this Duke team is doing that in what is somewhat a down year is just funny to me. No problem though, because my sh** talking is making up for it on my end. I'm giving people hell who tried to talk about Duke before the season even started.

It’s very annoying hearing all the Kansas, Mich State and Gonzaga pumpers our there, but no one mentions Duke at all. I don’t think there is a more complete team in College Basketball than Duke is.

College ball is down. Including the ACC. But I don’t think the Big 10 is good at all. They just beat each other up every game. No truly dominant team in that conference.

Wow, 29 point beatdown. MSU did lose Langford for the season. They had been playing better. OSU just lost their 4th in a row.
Article wasnt too tough on ACC. Pretty much just said its us, FSU, and Louisville. Hard to argue that after UNC's and UVA's last 2 games. I think the Techs have some promise if they stay healthy.

Personally I’m happy if nobody is talking about Duke. Stay focused (and hopefully healthy), improve/develop and do our thing as quietly as possible.
The current state of MSU b-ball IS a bit surprising, given it was pre-season numero uno.

College ball is definitely down but overall Duke is the best team, and even in other years I’d take them against those great teams because of the sheer team-first mentality.

I agree. This TEAM is incredible. We look like a well oiled machine I love it

Izzo usually has his teams ready for a tournament run by March, this group does not look like they will worry anyone at tournament time.Time may tell, but this team has no depth.Maybe a 4-5 seed and lucky to get out of the first weekend.

The Big10 is deep, it's what the ACC usually is. I like how all the Big10 teams are gonna beat up on each other. May be tough for any team to see a #1 seed.

Can we please not have MSU in our bracket for what feels like the 12th year in a row?

I would have no problem at all if Baylor leap frogged Duke and Gonzaga in the standings right now. Even though I do not think they are the best team in the country, they have beat some really good teams this year.

Honestly, Izzo teams perform better in the tournament when people are down on them and they underperform when expected to do well.

Agree. I would be happy not seeing them until the Final Four, if we are both fortunate enough to make it. But, they probably put up a few more clunkers giving the committee a perfect opportunity to place them as the 4 seed in our region. And surprise, we get shipped to the Midwest as the #1 seed!
