Looks like the kid is just using his opportunity to take in a lot of football games. I don't see anything in it. If anything, he's watching Penn St , OSU and MSU as much as Michigan.

I agree. This kid is going to have an awesome time seeing some great football games this year. Zero chance flipping him unless Michigan pisses him off.

Well they can and have this cycle. Aubrey Solomon, top DT in Georgia, committed to them early in the summer. Michigan sent him and his mom a thank you note for attending their BBQ event. Not only did he not attend it, they spelled his and his mom's first and last names wrong. He decommitted soon afterwards. Very few thought we was going to actually sign with Michigan, but in his decomit tweet he cited those things.

His tweet, as linked in a other thread here, was respectful to UM. UGA offering was probably the major factor.

Wow, what a massive screw-up that was! [laughing]

No, he had a UGA offer long before he had a Mich offer, he was the top guy on our board and the only one we were recruiting at the time. He visited Mich on an unofficial with a teammate, who was a Mich commit, and committed. Mom wasn't happy at all, and the card finished the deal. He might still sign with Mich, but they got some smoothing things over.

I am conflating the two UM commits from Ga.

The story is in the George Brown thread.
