I know they didnt have all their starters , But some of their starters had closer matches than I expected. It's early yet...
It seems like PSU has a similar situation going on with who started vs Army. How often has it been stated here and elsewhere that who we saw in the first dual of the season won’t be the same starters as in February/ tournament time. We’ve said and read, ‘trust the process’. Maybe other coaches are catching on to what’s happening at PSU and many of those coaches didn’t have the benefit of a 3” binder. 😉. I appreciate seeing kids wrestle in front of the crowd and get their 15 minutes of fame and contribute without much recognition. I’m not one for coach worship but we’ve got a real special thing going on in State College under this current administration. This is a great time to be a Penn State wrestling fan.

Amine and Micic aren't even in school right now, they're second semester only. With the extra Covid year, I'm sure there's a number of guys across other programs in a similar situation. I watched that dual on Sunday. Buffalo took maybe 4-5 shots across all 10 weights. Michigan guys had a hard time opening them up in a few of those close ones. And maybe that's why they only have a handful of fans in attendance.
